Sicario is introducing a new feature where players can purchase player-owned maps or Arenas. These Arenas will be governed by smart contracts and hosted on the blockchain, allowing for transparent governance and pre-set gameplay settings. As a map owner, you will have complete control over the settings of your Arena, including the number of players allowed, the type of weapons and items available, and the rules of engagement.

The Arenas will be sold as NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) on our platform, and once purchased, the NFT will be transferred to the buyer's wallet. The smart contract will be designed in such a way that only the owner of the NFT will have access to the Arena, ensuring complete ownership and control over the gameplay experience.

Hosting private tournaments on these Arenas will be a seamless process. Owners will be able to set the rules, invite players to participate, and specify the rewards for the winner. The smart contract will automatically enforce the rules and distribute rewards to the winner at the end of the tournament.

As a map owner, you will be able to earn passive income by allowing other players to use your Arena. You can set a fee for the use of your Arena, which will be automatically deducted from the participants' wallets and transferred to your wallet.

In conclusion, the player-owned maps or Arenas in Sicario provide an exciting new dimension to the game by allowing players to create and customize their own gameplay experiences, while also providing opportunities for passive income and transparent governance through the use of smart contracts on the blockchain.
