The Battle Royale gaming genre originated from the and was made widely popular by . In this type of game, you join a map along with 100 other players, and a strong electric field randomly decreases in size every few minutes, eventually compelling all players to face each other in the final showdown. At the beginning of the game, players have no equipment but can take chances by entering buildings while exploring to gather gear. Sicario is variation of a Battle Royale + Multiplayer type of game in first and third person with a web3 layer that allows true game asset ownership, player-driven governance, and tokenised bounties.
Players are dropped into a vast open-world environment and must fight to be the last one standing. The game features a unique reward system where players can collect tokenized rewards as in-game credits that can be used to unlock new weapons, skins, and other in-game items.
